Oh My
I may not be able to see my new room, but it does have this very sentimental scent, as though I've entered it a hundred times before. How delightful to feel this way!

I admit, I am quite nervous about meeting those of Asgard, particularly my roommate, but Metatron has already assured me that all will be well. He has frequently mentioned that we are not here for leisure; that there will be tasks set forth for us that will require pain, struggle, and perhaps a bit of heartbreak. Be that as it may, I have never been without such agonies, and I am confident to say that I am not frightened.

Very slightly, I can sense the others moving about the house as I write this. Metatron has fixed for me a notebook that, how do I say, becomes electronic? It is a journal that all may view, friends and enemies alike. I am quite hesitant to present my thoughts in such an open format, but if it is what must be done... In any case, Metatron has proved himself most kind and considerate. His selections of the members of his household may prove to be the best company I've yet kept.

This is a not only a new home, but a new world. I have a tendency to dwell too much on what has passed. I hope I may overcome this and accept this experience as a new day. Missing those who cared for me before will do nothing to alleviate my transition.

I am unsure of how you find me intriguing, but you seem nice. It is nice to meet you, Una. My name is Blythe. In which of Asgard's rooms will you be staying?

Oh my little peche.
No no no.

I am not one of Asgard.
I am of Niflheim.

Though I do appreciate you thinking me nice. We shall be friends...no?

Of...Niflheim? How will I be so sure you will not attack me? You seem nice, but if you are my enemy, would it be safest to avoid you?

You can't see?

Er, sorry, didn't mean to sound rude. I'm Mitch, we're on the same team?

This world is very new to me, too.

I am unoffended, Mitch. It is a pleasure to meet you, and if you say you are from Asgard, then indeed we are allies. I am Blythe. From what world have you come?

Oh, that's good. Yup, I'm with Asgard. And I'm from Earth... I think everyone I've met so far is from Earth, what about you?

Oh, splendid! Yes, Earth appears to be the world of choice. I am of Neverwas. I believe I am the only one here who is.

I lived in the great forests of the east. Unfortunately, it is the only territory about which I know for certain. There are some towns, many ruins, and fields of fire and ice. Are such things common in your world?

Well, the trees are less common nowadays, there lots of really big towns, and we gots the fields of ice in the very far north and very far south, but no field of fire. It's completely on fire?

Not too dissimilar, it seems. However, yes, it is completely on fire! With lava and smogs. I myself have never seen it. Though others say it is miraculously hot.

Sorta sounds like a volcano, but much much worse.

I take it that you didn't live there, though, right?

Your description is apt.

No, my boy, I am of the eastern forests. The east is more habitable. What more of your world can you tell me? I am so curious, as so many are from Earth.

Aah, okay. I lived in an eastern region, too, you could say. The east coast, a few miles away from an ocean. There were suburbs where I lived, with a lotta houses and schools and stores together, and some parks with trees.

I also lived near a large city. Lots of skyscrapers, tall buildings, and concrete. Lots of people live and work there.

I am familiar with many of these terms. It seems our worlds are not so different at all! I was momentarily concerned that finding common ground would be much harder. It sounds as though are many more people in your world than there ever have been in mine.

That's good. My world might have more people, but yours sounds like it has more magic? (If that field of fire is anything to go by.)

Hmm... Yes, I would say 'magick' is a fair term. I am pleased to hear we have many similarities in our worlds. What of you personally? Tell me of yourself.

Well, I, uh just turned eighteen a few weeks ago. I'm an 'orphan' though nobody officially knows what happened to my parents. And I like mystery books and music.

Um, what about you?

Oh, happy firstday! An orphan, how ghastly! I respect your strength in such a difficult arrangement. Books and music? Splendid.

My own parents died many years ago. My siblings departed soon after. They wished to learn more of the world, and thus they left me. I token myself to tarot, herbology, and the harp.

Thank you. Yeah, I didn't use to read so much, but now I read more than I used to.

I have to say I admire you, too. That had to be tough losing them. Could I ask, what's tarot?

Books are so darling. Do we not have a library in Asgard?

Ah, many thanks! I do believe it was, but I was so younng when they passed. Maybe it makes things easier.

Oh, tarot is a form of storytelling through cards. I use them to help answer any questions I may have. Each card represents something specific and helpful, as though they are a circle of guardians teaching me the old ways. I may show them to you some day, if you'd like.

We do, Metatron told me.

I always thought it does. Never met my parents, and I moved around so much, never got really attached to anybody.

Neat, ain't heard of that before. Sure I'd like to see them, yeah.

And you? Are there any loved ones you have left behind?

As for your solar system? As in, those who orbit around you - near friends? You had no friends in the world from which you arrived?
